PFF Urges Schools to Join FIFA’s ‘Football for Schools’ Programme Before 2025 Deadline
The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has issued a reminder to schools across the country to register for FIFA’s Football for Schools (F4S) Programme, a global initiative that blends football with education to help children develop essential life skills through sport.
Final Deadline: 31 December 2025
With the current cycle of the programme approaching its final stages, FIFA has announced December 31, 2025, as the last date for national federations to confirm their participation. The PFF is actively working to ensure schools in every region of Pakistan are aware of this opportunity.
The programme targets children aged 4 to 14, aiming to make football a fun, inclusive, and educational part of the school curriculum.
Teacher Training Support from FIFA
As part of the initiative, FIFA will also facilitate special training sessions for physical education (PE) teachers. These sessions—delivered either in-person or online—will empower educators to conduct football-based activities that are both enjoyable and meaningful for students.
A Message from the PFF President
PFF President Syed Mohsen Gilani emphasized the long-term benefits of the programme:
“Football for Schools is more than just a sports initiative—it’s a way to shape the future of our children. Through football, kids can learn teamwork, discipline, and confidence that will help them both on and off the field.”
He urged schools nationwide to take advantage of the opportunity and register before the deadline:
“Let’s give every child in Pakistan the chance to grow through the beautiful game.”
Schools interested in joining the programme can contact the PFF or visit FIFA’s official website for more information.
