The second week of the Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2026 is set to begin on Wednesday, with matches scheduled across Pasig City (Philippines), Bangkok (Thailand), and Ankara (Türkiye). A total of 36 matches will be played during the week.

All 18 participating teams will compete in four matches each this week. The schedule features multiple daily games from Wednesday through Sunday, as teams continue their push toward qualification for the final phase in China. The top-ranked teams after the preliminary rounds will advance to the Finals.

Strong Line-ups in Pasig City

Pasig City will host teams including Czechia, Dominican Republic, Italy, Japan, Serbia, and the United States. Several top-ranked teams will face each other in key matchups, including Japan vs Serbia and Italy vs Czechia. The United States will also open their campaign against the Dominican Republic.

One of the most anticipated fixtures of the week is the clash between the United States and Italy, scheduled for Saturday. Another major highlight will be Japan vs Italy on Sunday in the final match of the pool.

Bangkok Matches Featuring Thailand and Poland

In Bangkok, teams including Thailand, Poland, Bulgaria, Canada, the Netherlands, and Ukraine will compete. Canada and the Netherlands will open the week, while Poland—currently one of the highest-ranked teams in the pool—will face Bulgaria later in the day.

Hosts Thailand will look to secure their first win of the tournament as they take on Ukraine in their opening match. Thailand will be aiming to improve their standing as the competition progresses.

The week promises competitive volleyball action across all three venues as teams continue their journey toward the VNL 2026 Finals.
