Lahore Airport Introduces Health Screening Protocol for Deported Passengers
All deported passengers arriving at Allama Iqbal International Airport (Lahore) will now undergo health screening as part of updated procedures introduced by the airport’s Health Department.
According to an official notification, the initiative is part of broader coordination between relevant federal and provincial health authorities to strengthen entry-point screening measures.
Under the updated process, health teams will conduct medical tests for deported individuals upon arrival in designated screening areas at the airport. In case of any positive results, relevant public health authorities will be informed for further medical follow-up and support.
The notification has also been shared with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Airport Security Force (ASF), and airline operators to ensure proper coordination and facilitation of the process.
Authorities have directed all concerned departments to assist in implementing the new screening procedures, while airlines transporting deported passengers have been instructed to provide advance passenger information to health officials prior to arrival.
Further updates are expected as the procedure is implemented and refined at entry points.
