Lahore Gets First 180kW EV Fast-Charging Station

Lahore has taken a step toward electric mobility with the launch of its first 180kW EV fast-charging station on Shami Road.

The facility was inaugurated by Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) Chief Executive Officer Engr. M Ramzan Butt, who said the project was completed with fast-track technical and grid support from the utility.

According to LESCO, the station is designed to support the growing demand for electric vehicles by providing high-speed charging services in the city.

Speaking at the ceremony, the CEO said LESCO is committed to strengthening infrastructure for electric vehicles and will continue to facilitate similar projects across its service areas.

Officials termed the development an important milestone in promoting cleaner and more sustainable transport solutions in Pakistan.
