WhatsApp Now Supports Standalone Accounts on iPad
One of the biggest additions is the ability to create and use a new WhatsApp account directly on an iPad.
Previously, iPad users had to link the app to an existing WhatsApp account on a smartphone. With the latest update, users can register, set up, and use WhatsApp independently on an iPad without requiring a connected phone.
The feature significantly improves the experience for iPad users following the launch of the dedicated WhatsApp app last year.
Improved CarPlay and Android Auto Integration
WhatsApp has also enhanced its compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Subscribers to Spotify and Apple Music can now share the songs they are currently listening to directly to their WhatsApp Status using the built-in sharing options available in the music apps.
