Maryam Nawaz’s Daughter Mahnoor Safdar to Have Nikah Ceremony Today
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s youngest daughter, Mahnoor Safdar, is set to have her nikah ceremony today at the Sharif family’s residence in Jati Umra, Lahore.
The intimate family event will be attended by close relatives and selected guests, keeping the ceremony largely limited to family members.
Mahnoor Safdar to Marry Azan Jabbar
Mahnoor Safdar is set to marry Azan Jabbar, son of businessman Jabbar Khalid.
The nikah comes shortly after Mahnoor completed her degree in Anthropology from SOAS University of London, where she studied from 2023 to 2026.
Earlier this month, Maryam Nawaz travelled to London to attend her daughter’s graduation ceremony. The Punjab chief minister described the occasion as a proud and memorable moment for the family.
Speaking to Geo News during the visit, Maryam said that seeing one’s children complete their education is among the greatest sources of happiness for parents. She also noted that all three of her children had completed their higher education.
Mahnoor Is the Youngest of Three Children
Mahnoor is the youngest child of Maryam Nawaz and Captain Muhammad Safdar. She completed her studies at SOAS University of London before returning to Pakistan for the family celebrations.
The wedding has attracted public attention because of the family’s prominent political and social profile, although the nikah itself is expected to remain a private gathering.
Sharif Family’s Recent Wedding Celebration
The Sharif family’s most recent major wedding celebration was for Mahnoor’s brother, Junaid Safdar, who married Shanzeh Ali Rohale in January.
The celebrations took place over several days at different locations, including the Sharif family’s Jati Umra estate.
Mahnoor’s nikah is expected to be a comparatively private occasion, with close family members and invited guests attending the ceremony.
