Faisalabad Theatre Hall Sealed After Inspection Finds Violations

FAISALABAD: Authorities have sealed a theatre hall in Faisalabad after a joint inspection found several violations involving an approved programme, theatre regulations and promotional material.

The inspection was conducted by the Punjab Council of Arts, Faisalabad, in coordination with the Chiniot district administration.

According to a spokesperson for the arts council, the action was part of routine monitoring aimed at ensuring that theatrical activities comply with the applicable code of conduct and legal and administrative requirements.

Officials said the inspection identified breaches of the approved play and prescribed theatre rules. Irregularities were also found in promotional and publicity material associated with the programme.

The authorities sealed the theatre hall following the inspection as part of enforcement measures to ensure compliance with the relevant regulations.
