LAS VEGAS: Former Miami Heat teammates Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro were involved in a brief incident at an NBA Summer League practice facility on Friday, according to multiple reports.

The reported exchange occurred after Herro’s offseason move to the Milwaukee Bucks, while Adebayo remains with the Miami Heat.

Teams Acknowledge Incident

The Miami Heat confirmed they were aware that an incident had taken place but declined to provide additional details.

Speaking to reporters after the Summer League game between the Heat and Bucks, Tyler Herro chose not to comment on the matter.

Offseason Changes

Herro was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks earlier this month as part of the deal that sent Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat.

The move ended Herro’s long association with Miami, where he had played alongside Adebayo for several seasons.

Reports Link Incident to Off-Court Discussions

Media reports indicated that the disagreement may have been related to comments attributed to Herro regarding Adebayo during the offseason.

However, neither player has publicly discussed the reported details, and no official statement explaining the cause of the incident has been released.

Focus Returns to Basketball

Despite the reported exchange, NBA Summer League activities continued as scheduled in Las Vegas, where teams are evaluating young talent and preparing for the upcoming NBA season.

Both organizations are expected to remain focused on their preparations for the 2026–27 campaign as training camp approaches.
