Oppo has announced a range of new artificial intelligence (AI) features for ColorOS 16, ahead of the launch of its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, scheduled for April 21.
AI Bill Manager for Expense Tracking
A new feature within AI Mind Space, called AI Bill Manager, is designed to help users manage their expenses. It can automatically extract and organize payment details from digital invoices and scanned receipts, storing them in a dedicated section for easy access.
AI Mind Pilot for Personalized Assistance
Oppo is also introducing AI Mind Pilot, which provides more personalized responses by using contextual information. The feature can combine inputs from multiple AI models and allows users to compare responses or choose their preferred model.
AI Menu Translation for Travelers
Another addition is AI Menu Translation, which aims to assist users when reading menus in different languages. It can translate text, identify dishes, display images, and convert prices into the user’s selected currency.
AI Email Brief for Daily Summaries
The AI Email Brief feature offers a daily summary of emails, highlighting important messages, meetings, and tasks. It also allows users to quickly add events to their calendar.
New Live Space Interface
ColorOS 16 introduces a redesigned Live Space interface that lets users manage notifications on the lock screen through simple gestures, helping keep the display organized while showing key updates.
Improved File Sharing Support
Oppo is also working with Google to enhance cross-device sharing through Quick Share. The company has indicated that broader compatibility features may be introduced, though availability details have not yet been confirmed.
Launch Date
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to be officially unveiled on April 21, alongside these new software features.
