Pakistan continued their impressive run at the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Men’s Volleyball Championship, defeating Nepal in straight sets on the third day of the tournament at the Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.
The hosts produced a dominant performance to secure a 3-0 victory, extending their unbeaten record in the competition.
Pakistan Defeat Nepal in Straight Sets
Pakistan controlled the match from start to finish with strong serving, disciplined defense, effective blocking, and quick attacking play.
The home side won the match with set scores of:

- 25-18
- 25-10
The victory keeps Pakistan among the top-performing teams in the championship as the tournament progresses.
Uzbekistan Overcome Sri Lanka
In another match, Uzbekistan registered a 3-1 win over Sri Lanka.
Uzbekistan narrowly claimed the opening set 25-23, before Sri Lanka leveled the match by winning the second set 25-22. Uzbekistan responded by taking the final two sets 25-19 and 25-22 to secure the victory.
Bangladesh Win Five-Set Thriller
The most closely contested match of the day saw Bangladesh defeat Kazakhstan 3-2 after an exciting encounter that lasted more than two hours.
Kazakhstan won the opening set 25-20, but Bangladesh fought back to claim the next two sets 25-21 and 25-23.
Kazakhstan forced a deciding fifth set by winning the fourth 25-21, but Bangladesh held their composure in the final set to secure a 15-12 victory and complete the match.
