Sindh Government Directs Immediate Road and Sewerage Repairs in Gulistan-e-Jauhar
The Sindh government has instructed relevant authorities to begin immediate repair work on damaged roads and address sewerage issues in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi, as part of efforts to improve public infrastructure.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab to visit the area and assess the condition of major roads, internal streets, and drainage systems.
Report on Development Work Requested
The mayor has been asked to submit a detailed report covering road repairs, blocked sewerage lines, and the progress of ongoing development projects in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
According to the provincial government, timely completion of the work is a priority to improve public convenience and reduce disruptions for residents and commuters.
Focus on Better Civic Services
Officials have been instructed to ensure that repair and maintenance activities are carried out efficiently while minimizing inconvenience to the public.
The Sindh government has also directed civic agencies to strengthen coordination and accelerate road rehabilitation, drainage improvements, and sanitation projects in different parts of Karachi.
