Spain Defeats Pakistan 5-1 in FIH Pro League Match

Spain secured a 5-1 victory over Pakistan in their FIH Pro League match at the Belfius Hockey Arena on Sunday.

The Spanish side took an early lead in the 11th minute through Alvarez Nicolas and maintained control of the contest throughout the opening half. Spain added two more goals before the break, with Cunill Pepe scoring twice to give his team a 3-0 advantage.

Pakistan responded in the third quarter when Abu Mahmood found the net in the 43rd minute, reducing the deficit to 3-1. The Green Shirts also earned several penalty corners during the match but were unable to convert additional scoring opportunities.

Spain continued to create chances in the final quarter and added two more goals through Reyne Merc and Alvarez Nicolas to complete the 5-1 result.

The victory provided Spain with valuable points in the competition and marked an important result in their Pro League campaign.

Pakistan will now focus on improving their performances in upcoming fixtures as they continue their participation in the tournament. The team showed moments of attacking intent but was unable to capitalize on key opportunities against a disciplined Spanish side.
