Pakistan Names Strong T20I Squad for West Indies Series in USA
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled a 15-member squad for the upcoming T20I series against the West Indies, sticking with most of the players who recently featured against Bangladesh. The three-match series will be played at the Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, USA, on July 31, August 2, and August 3.
🏏 Salman Ali Agha to Lead the T20I Squad
Salman Ali Agha will continue to captain the team as Pakistan gears up for a crucial run of fixtures, including the Asia Cup and the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. The squad features a solid mix of experienced pacers and young batting talent, as Pakistan aims to finalize its T20 core.
🔁 Pacers Return, New Faces Make Way
The T20I squad sees the return of Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, who will boost the team’s bowling firepower. However, Abbas Afridi, Salman Mirza, and Ahmed Daniyal, despite performing well against Bangladesh, have been dropped for this series.
Meanwhile, consistent performers like Mohammad Haris, Khushdil Shah, and Saim Ayub have retained their spots.
