The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the warm-up schedule for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, with Pakistan set to play practice matches against Sri Lanka and Scotland.

The tournament will be held in England and Wales, while the warm-up fixtures are scheduled between June 6 and June 10 at venues including Derby, Loughborough, and Cardiff.

Each participating team will play two warm-up matches to help them adjust to local conditions before the main competition begins on June 12.

Pakistan will begin their preparation campaign on June 6 in Derby against Sri Lanka, followed by a second warm-up match against Scotland on June 9 at the same venue.

The ICC stated that a total of 12 warm-up matches will be played, involving all participating teams, including strong sides such as Australia, England, India, and New Zealand.

Tournament debutants Netherlands will also take part in the warm-up fixtures, highlighting the expanded competitive field in this edition of the World Cup.

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 will officially begin on June 12, with the final scheduled to be played at Lord’s in London on July 5.

The warm-up matches are expected to play an important role in helping teams finalize combinations and adapt to English playing conditions ahead of the global event.
