Government Lowers Petrol Price by Rs. 4 Per Litre, Diesel Rate Unchanged

The federal government has announced a reduction in petrol prices while keeping the rate of high-speed diesel unchanged.

According to official sources, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs. 4 per litre. Following the latest adjustment, petrol will now be available at Rs. 377.56 per litre, compared to the previous rate of Rs. 381.56 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel will remain unchanged at Rs. 380.56 per litre.

The revised fuel prices are scheduled to take effect from 12:00 AM on June 6, 2026. An official notification from the Petroleum Division is expected to be issued shortly.

This follows the government’s previous fuel price revision, under which petrol and diesel prices were reduced by Rs. 22.22 per litre.

The latest adjustment is expected to provide some relief to motorists and consumers amid ongoing economic developments.
