PESCO Approves One-Month Performance Bonus for Employees

The Board of Directors of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has approved a one-month salary bonus for eligible employees in recognition of their performance during the 2025–26 fiscal year.

According to an official statement, the bonus will be provided to regular, contract, and deputation employees. Lump-sum and daily-wage staff will also receive a payment equivalent to one month’s basic pay.

Eligibility Criteria Set

The company clarified that employees must have completed at least six months of service to qualify for the incentive.

It was further stated that employees facing disciplinary action or investigation by relevant authorities will not be eligible for the bonus.

Exclusions and Conditions

Employees involved in serious misconduct, including corruption or power theft cases, will be excluded from the incentive program.

In addition, staff members with major disciplinary penalties or unresolved administrative issues will not receive the bonus.

Performance and Accountability Measures

The utility company also noted that employees responsible for delays in key operational tasks, such as billing services, net metering approvals, or complaint resolution, may not qualify for the incentive.

Officials said the policy is aimed at encouraging improved performance and accountability within the organization.
