Inter Miami Defeat Real Salt Lake 2-0 with Quick Late Goals
Inter Miami CF secured a 2-0 win over Real Salt Lake with two quick goals late in the second half, continuing their strong run in the league.
Late Goals Seal the Match
Rodrigo De Paul opened the scoring in the 82nd minute with a well-placed shot into the top corner following a short corner routine.
Less than two minutes later, Luis Suárez doubled the lead with a left-footed volley, marking his second goal of the season. The two strikes came just 1 minute and 54 seconds apart — the fastest back-to-back goals in the club’s history.
Solid Defensive Performance
Goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair played a key role by keeping a clean sheet, helping Miami secure all three points.
Current Form
Inter Miami, now unbeaten in their last eight regular-season matches, continue to build momentum and currently sit near the top of the Eastern Conference standings.
Meanwhile, Real Salt Lake saw their six-match unbeaten streak come to an end after a series of strong performances, including consecutive multi-goal victories.
Head-to-Head Record
This result adds to Miami’s strong record against Salt Lake, following a similar 2-0 win in their previous meeting during the 2024 season opener.
