Health authorities in Bahawalpur have reported a new suspected case of mpox, with the patient currently under observation at the Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH).
According to hospital officials, the individual has been placed in an isolation ward as a precautionary measure while laboratory test results are awaited.

Hospital representatives stated that blood samples were sent to a laboratory in Lahore for testing. The results are expected after the completion of the diagnostic process.

According to BVH Coordinator Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, the nurse has recovered and is in stable condition. However, she remains under observation in the hospital’s isolation ward to complete the recommended monitoring period in accordance with health guidelines.
