Pakistan Football Federation Finalises 15-Point Agenda for Key Executive Committee Meeting
The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is set to take major steps toward shaping the future of football in the country, as it finalises a 15-point agenda for its upcoming Executive Committee meeting.
The detailed agenda has already been shared with members, and several high-impact decisions are expected. Among the most anticipated is the appointment of a new PFF General Secretary, with the race now down to two contenders — Shahid Khokhar and Colonel Hamdani. The final decision will be made during the meeting.
Discussions will also cover domestic football competitions, including updates on the launch of the franchise league, Premier League, and Challenge Cup. The committee will consider forming various bodies in line with the PFF constitution, while also reviewing and approving the federation’s annual budget.
A fresh identity for Pakistan football could also be on the cards, with the design for a new PFF logo up for discussion.
The meeting will address the PFF’s legal standing as an autonomous body and outline the process for retrieving important records from the previous Normalisation Committee.
PFF President Mohsin Gilani is expected to brief members on recent meetings with FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), as well as new agreements with the football associations of Azerbaijan and China to boost international collaboration.
With critical structural, administrative, and competitive issues on the table, this Executive Committee session could play a defining role in guiding the future of Pakistan football.
