Pakistan Navy Successfully Test-Fires Taimoor Air-Launched Cruise Missile
The Pakistan Navy has successfully carried out a live test of the Taimoor Air-Launched Cruise Missile, marking an important milestone in the country’s indigenous defence capability, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a statement released on Tuesday, ISPR said the missile test demonstrated the Navy’s precision strike capability and operational readiness in a real-time environment.
The Taimoor air-launched cruise missile is described as an indigenously developed anti-ship weapon system designed to engage maritime targets at long range with high accuracy.
Precision strike capability
According to the military’s media wing, the missile successfully completed its mission during the test and accurately hit its designated target. The system validated Pakistan Navy’s ability to detect, track, and neutralize potential sea-based threats effectively.
Officials said the successful firing highlights continued efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s defence technology and enhance maritime security capabilities.
