Government Increases Kerosene Oil Price by Rs7.80 Per Litre

The federal government has increased the price of kerosene oil, according to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

Under the revised pricing, the cost of kerosene oil has been raised by Rs7.80 per litre, bringing the new price to Rs297.17 per litre. The updated rate came into effect on July 23, 2026.

Previously, kerosene oil was being sold at Rs289.37 per litre.

The increase follows the recent revision in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel as part of the government’s periodic fuel price adjustments.

The latest hike is expected to increase fuel expenses for households and businesses that rely on kerosene oil, particularly in areas where it remains a commonly used energy source.

Consumers are advised to check the latest official fuel prices issued by OGRA for updated rates.
