Petrol Price Rises Above Rs. 380 Per Litre in Pakistan
The federal government has announced another increase in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), pushing petrol above the Rs. 380 per litre mark.
According to the latest fuel price update, petrol has become Rs. 4.42 per litre more expensive, taking its new price to Rs. 380.24 per litre. The price of high-speed diesel has also increased by Rs. 6.10 per litre, reaching Rs. 409.42 per litre.
The latest revision marks the sixth consecutive increase in fuel prices under the ongoing daily pricing mechanism.

The previous major revision on September 11 had increased petrol by Rs. 5.02 per litre, while diesel had risen by Rs. 5.28 per litre.
Fuel Prices Rise Sharply Under Daily Revision
Since the introduction of the daily fuel pricing system, petrol has increased by approximately Rs. 68.94 per litre, while the price of diesel has climbed by around Rs. 79.91 per litre.
The continued rise in fuel prices is likely to increase transportation and logistics costs, which could also put additional pressure on household budgets and prices of goods and services.
The latest petrol price is now Rs. 380.24 per litre, while high-speed diesel is being sold at Rs. 409.42 per litre under the revised rates.
