Punjab Transport Company Opens 105 Jobs With Salaries Up to Rs. 950,000
Punjab Transport Company (PTC) has announced 105 job openings across its Project Management Units (PMUs) and Project Implementation Units (PIUs), offering opportunities in engineering, finance, procurement, administration, legal affairs, IT and project management.
Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the Punjab Job Portal until September 30, 2026. According to the recruitment advertisement, the appointments will initially be made for a period of 12 months.
PTC is a company owned by the Government of Punjab.
Project Management Unit Vacancies
A total of 15 positions have been announced for the Project Management Units. The highest-paid position is Project Director, with a monthly gross salary of Rs. 950,000.

Project Implementation Unit Vacancies
PTC has announced another 90 vacancies under its Project Implementation Units. These positions mainly cover engineering, construction, health and safety, quantity surveying and administration.

Education and Experience Criteria
The eligibility requirements vary according to the position.
For the Project Director role, candidates should have a master’s degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Project Management or a related discipline. Applicants must also have at least 15 years of post-qualification experience, including 10 years of experience managing or planning major infrastructure or development projects.
The Chief Engineer position requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering, while a master’s qualification will be preferred. Candidates should have at least 15 years of professional experience, including eight years in infrastructure or transportation-related projects.
Candidates applying for Manager (Engineering) should hold a relevant engineering qualification and have at least eight years of experience in areas such as building design, planning, supervision or project execution.
Manager-level positions in procurement, administration, finance and internal audit require relevant academic qualifications along with substantial professional experience.
For the Deputy Manager (Legal) position, applicants must have an LLB degree from an HEC-recognised university and at least eight years of relevant experience. An LLM and public-sector experience will be considered an advantage.
Assistant Manager positions generally require relevant qualifications and around four to five years of experience, depending on the role.
For PIU positions, candidates applying for Assistant Manager (Civil) and Assistant Manager (Electrical) need relevant engineering degrees and five years of experience. The Health & Safety position requires a relevant degree, five years of experience and a recognised certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or OSHA.
The Sub Engineer and Quantity Surveyor positions require a relevant Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) along with five years of experience. Quantity Surveyor applicants should have experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, BOQ preparation and construction cost assessment.
Age Requirements
The maximum age varies by position:
- Up to 50 years: Project Director, Chief Engineer, PMU Managers and Deputy Manager (Legal)
- Up to 40 years: Assistant Manager positions
- Up to 45 years: Associate (Admin), Sub Engineer and Quantity Surveyor
- Up to 30 years: Office Associate
