Pakistan Beat Nepal to Secure Second Win at Asian Games 2026 Kabaddi

Pakistan continued their strong start at the Asian Games 2026 by defeating Nepal in their second Group B match of the men’s kabaddi competition.
The Green-shirts secured a 58-43 victory over Nepal at the Tokai Citizen Gymnasium in Aichi Prefecture on Tuesday.
The win gave Pakistan four points from two matches and moved them to the top of Group B.
Pakistan Continue Winning Run
Pakistan opened their Asian Games campaign with an impressive 65-22 victory over Malaysia on Monday.
They followed that performance with another win against Nepal, who put up resistance but could not stop Pakistan from securing the points.
Pakistan are among the teams with a strong record in Asian Games kabaddi and won the bronze medal at the previous edition.
Pakistan’s Next Kabaddi Match
Pakistan will face Thailand in their next Group B match on Wednesday.
The Green-shirts will then take on Iran as they continue their campaign for a place in the knockout stage.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
India Begin Campaign with Win
In Group A, defending champions India also started their campaign with a victory.
India defeated South Korea 63-31 in their opening match.
Japan, Chinese Taipei and Bangladesh are also part of Group A.
India won the kabaddi gold medal at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou after defeating Iran 42-32 in the final.
The Asian Games 2026 kabaddi competition will determine the teams that advance to the semi-finals, with both Pakistan and India aiming to challenge for medals.
