A fire erupted at a pizza shop in Hujra Shah Muqim after a gas cylinder explosion, injuring three workers associated with a local cleanliness campaign, according to rescue officials.

Rescue sources said the incident occurred when a gas cylinder inside the kitchen exploded, triggering a fire that quickly spread throughout the outlet.

Property Damage Reported

The blaze caused significant damage to kitchen equipment, furniture, and other items inside the shop. Authorities estimate losses in the hundreds of thousands of rupees.

Rescue Response

Rescue 1122 teams responded promptly after receiving the emergency call. The injured workers were rescued from the scene, given first aid, and shifted to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Officials said the fire was intense, but firefighters managed to bring it under control and prevented it from spreading to nearby shops.

Investigation Underway

Authorities are reviewing the incident to determine the cause of the cylinder explosion and to assess safety conditions at the establishment.
