Pakistan vs Australia ODI Series: Match Officials Announced
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the match officials for the upcoming three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia, scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from May 30 to June 4.
Sri Lanka’s Graeme La Brooy will serve as the match referee for the entire series. He played international cricket for Sri Lanka, featuring in nine Test matches and 44 One Day Internationals between 1986 and 1992.
The umpiring panel includes experienced officials from the ICC Elite Panel, with Ahsan Raza (Pakistan), Richard Kettleborough (England), and Kumar Dharmasena (Sri Lanka) assigned duties across the three matches.
First ODI – Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium (May 30)
The opening match will feature Kumar Dharmasena and Pakistan’s Asif Yaqoob as on-field umpires. Richard Kettleborough will act as third umpire, while Faisal Khan Aafreedi will serve as fourth umpire.
Second ODI – Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore (June 2)
Richard Kettleborough and Faisal Khan Aafreedi will take on-field responsibilities. Kumar Dharmasena will be the third umpire, with Asif Yaqoob as fourth umpire.
Third ODI – Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore (June 4)
Kumar Dharmasena and Ahsan Raza will officiate on the field. Richard Kettleborough will serve as third umpire, while Nasir Hussain will be fourth umpire.
Graeme La Brooy will continue as match referee throughout all three ODIs.
The series is expected to feature high-profile officiating, with experienced international umpires overseeing key decisions in what promises to be a competitive contest between Pakistan and Australia.
