Prince William has been honoured with a special milestone recognition as he attended the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Manchester City at Wembley Stadium.

The Prince of Wales, aged 43, has completed 20 years as President of the Football Association (FA). To mark the occasion, he was presented with a commemorative England shirt featuring the number “20” during a visit to England manager Thomas Tuchel and his coaching staff at St George’s Park.

Visit to England Training Base

During his visit, Prince William met coaching staff, analysts, and medical teams supporting England’s preparations for the upcoming international tournament. The visit highlighted the behind-the-scenes work involved in preparing players for major competitions.

Officials also shared insights into training methods, tactics, and player management as England build toward their World Cup campaign.

FA Cup Final Appearance at Wembley

Prince William attended Wembley Stadium for the FA Cup final, where he is expected to present the trophy to the winning team. His appearance comes as part of his long-standing role with the FA, which he has held since 2006.

Two Decades with the Football Association

Prince William took over the presidency from his uncle in 2006 and has since been involved in promoting football development and participation across the UK.

At the time of his appointment, he expressed his enthusiasm for the role, describing football as a sport that connects millions of fans and encourages youth participation.

The FA also previously praised his involvement, highlighting his support for the growth of the game at both grassroots and professional levels.
