Punjab Tourism Force Adds New Haval H6 SUVs to Its Vehicle Fleet
The Punjab government has expanded the operational fleet of the Punjab Tourism Force by adding a number of GWM Haval H6 petrol SUVs to support tourism-related field activities across the province.
The Punjab Tourism Force is a dedicated unit responsible for assisting visitors, improving safety at tourist destinations, responding to emergencies, and helping maintain order at popular attractions.
The force is currently deployed at several well-known tourist locations, including Murree, Taxila, Harappa, and the Soon Valley, as part of the government’s efforts to promote safe and organized tourism.
The newly added Haval H6 SUVs feature modern exterior equipment, including LED headlights and taillights, automatic headlights, daytime running lights (DRLs), rear fog lamps, electric headlamp adjustment, and an emergency brake warning system.
Additional exterior features include a panoramic sunroof, roof rails, 19-inch alloy wheels, power tailgate, heated and auto-folding side mirrors with puddle lamps, privacy glass, ambient lighting, and a shark-fin antenna.
The SUV is powered by a turbocharged petrol engine paired with an automatic dual-clutch transmission. Depending on the model, it is available with either a 1.5-liter or 2.0-liter engine, delivering up to 235 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque.
Inside the cabin, the Haval H6 offers a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, an eight-speaker sound system, and a digital instrument cluster.
The vehicle also includes several advanced safety and driver assistance technologies, such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree camera system.
The addition of these SUVs is expected to enhance the mobility and operational capabilities of the Punjab Tourism Force as it continues to support visitors at tourist destinations across the province.
