Samsung Galaxy A27 5G Launches in Select Market With Upgraded Features

Samsung has quietly listed the Galaxy A27 5G on its official website in the Czech Republic, revealing key specifications of the new mid-range smartphone. The company has not yet confirmed a global launch date.

The device appears to be a new addition to Samsung’s Galaxy A series, offering improved performance, updated design, and long-term software support.

Display and Design

The Galaxy A27 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits brightness. It comes in multiple colour options, including Blue, Black, Light Pink, and Green.

The phone also includes Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port. It supports dual-SIM 5G connectivity.

Performance and Software

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and is available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, paired with 128GB or 256GB storage options. Storage can be expanded via microSD card support of up to 2TB.

The Galaxy A27 5G runs on Android 16 with One UI 8.5. Samsung has promised up to six years of OS and security updates, extending support well into 2032.

Camera Setup

On the rear, the phone includes a triple-camera system featuring a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, it offers a 12MP front camera with support for 4K video recording.

Battery and Other Features

The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. Pricing details have not yet been announced.
