Hasan Ali Suffers Injury Scare During Bangladesh Test but Returns to Field

Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali faced an injury scare on the opening day of the second Test against Bangladesh in Sylhet after an awkward fall while attempting a return catch.

The incident occurred during Bangladesh’s innings after Pakistan chose to bowl first in the must-win Test match.

Injury incident during bowling spell

Hasan Ali attempted to take a caught-and-bowled chance off Bangladesh opener Tanzid Hasan, who chipped the ball back towards the bowler. While diving forward for the catch, Hasan landed awkwardly and stayed down on the field for several moments.

Pakistan’s medical staff quickly entered the ground to assess the fast bowler as concerns grew among teammates and supporters.

After initial treatment, officials brought a stretcher onto the field and Hasan was temporarily taken off for further medical evaluation. Salman Agha completed the remaining deliveries of the over.

Relief for Pakistan camp

The incident briefly raised concerns for Pakistan, especially with the team already making changes to its pace attack for the second Test.

However, Pakistan later received positive news when Hasan Ali returned to the field during the first session and resumed bowling, easing fears of a serious injury.

Important player for Pakistan

Hasan Ali came into the match following a strong performance in the first Test, where he picked up multiple wickets and played a key role with the ball.

His return to action will be important for Pakistan as the team looks to recover in the series after losing the opening Test against Bangladesh.
