Saudi Investors Show Interest in Pakistan’s Major Motorway Projects

A delegation led by Prince Mansour bin Muhammad Al Saud has expressed interest in investing in Pakistan’s motorway infrastructure during a meeting with Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan.

According to an official statement, the minister invited Saudi investors to explore opportunities in several large-scale road development projects, including the M6 Sukkur–Hyderabad Motorway, M10 Karachi Port Motorway, and M13 Kharian–Rawalpindi Motorway.

During the meeting, Abdul Aleem Khan highlighted that these infrastructure projects offer strong investment potential and could generate attractive returns for international partners. He added that Pakistan’s expanding road network is playing an important role in improving regional connectivity and supporting trade growth.

Prince Mansour bin Muhammad Al Saud stated that the Saudi Pakistan Joint Business Council is keen to strengthen cooperation in Pakistan’s infrastructure and communications sectors and is actively considering investment opportunities in these areas.

The minister assured the delegation that the government would provide full facilitation to investors and work on viable financial models for infrastructure development.

Both sides also discussed the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, reaffirming their commitment to enhancing economic and investment cooperation in the future.
