Pakistan and Australia’s New South Wales state have discussed ways to expand cooperation in agriculture, with a focus on modern farming technologies, research, innovation and knowledge sharing.

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Australia, Irfan Shaukat, held a meeting with Tara Moriarty MLC, Minister for Agriculture, Regional New South Wales and Western New South Wales, to explore opportunities for strengthening agricultural ties.

During the meeting, both sides discussed potential collaboration in advanced seed technology, agricultural research and innovation.

The discussions also highlighted the importance of sharing technical expertise and knowledge between relevant institutions in Pakistan and New South Wales.
