Pakistan Building Rs. 100 Billion Road from Karachi to Chaman

Rs. 100 Billion Allocated for Karachi–Quetta–Chaman Road Project in PSDP 2025–26

Parliamentary Secretary for Communications, Gill Asghar Khan, informed the National Assembly on Monday that Rs. 100 billion has been allocated in the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) 2025–26 for the Karachi–Quetta–Chaman road project.

Responding during Question Hour, he emphasized the government’s commitment to completing all 72 priority projects of the National Highway Authority (NHA) nationwide.

The plan focuses on addressing procedural, funding, land acquisition, and technical challenges to ensure timely completion. Feasibility studies and realignment work are currently underway for key projects including the M-9 and M-10 motorways.

Gill Asghar Khan assured lawmakers that all 72 projects would be completed within the designated timelines, with particular attention on enhancing infrastructure development in Balochistan.
