Pakistan’s Passport Drops in Latest Global Ranking: Now 103rd Worldwide

Pakistan’s passport has dropped to the 103rd position in the 2025 Henley Passport Index, sharing the spot with Yemen, as citizens now enjoy visa-free access to 31 countries.
The latest ranking reflects a slight decline from last year, when Pakistan was placed 96th with access to 32 destinations, highlighting ongoing challenges in expanding global travel freedom for its citizens.
The Henley Passport Index, a global ranking based on the number of destinations accessible without a prior visa, continues to serve as a key indicator of international mobility and diplomatic outreach.

According to the 2025 report, countries such as Iraq (104th), Syria (105th), and Afghanistan (106th) remain at the bottom of the index, while India also recorded a drop to 85th place with visa-free access to 57 countries, down from its previous ranking of 77th.
