Andy Pages Powers Dodgers Past Angels in 6-0 Victory
The Los Angeles Dodgers delivered a dominant all-around performance on Friday night, defeating the Los Angeles Angels 6-0 in Anaheim and extending their first three-game winning streak of May.
Andy Pages led the offensive charge with a three-run home run, setting the tone early in the game. Max Muncy added a solo homer in the third inning, while Teoscar Hernández contributed a two-run shot in the sixth to seal the comfortable win.
Strong bullpen performance
The Dodgers’ pitching staff also impressed, combining for a two-hit shutout. The team used multiple relievers after a late change to the starting rotation, but the bullpen held firm throughout the game.
Will Klein opened the game with two scoreless innings, followed by a series of relievers who each contributed one inning to maintain control of the contest. Edgardo Henriquez earned the win, while Charlie Barnes closed out the game with a clean ninth inning in his Dodgers debut.
Injury update
The Dodgers were forced to adjust their pitching plans shortly before the game after Blake Snell was placed on the injured list due to an elbow issue. Snell has struggled with injuries this season and has made only one start so far.
Series momentum
The win gives the Dodgers early momentum in the latest Freeway Series matchup between the two Los Angeles teams, as they continue to build form in the regular season.
