Nawaz Sharif and Aseefa Bhutto Launch Campaign Visits Ahead of Gilgit-Baltistan Elections
Political activity intensified in Gilgit-Baltistan as senior leaders of major political parties arrived in the region ahead of the upcoming elections scheduled for June 7.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif reached Gilgit on a brief visit, while PPP leader Aseefa Bhutto Zardari arrived in Skardu to participate in election-related activities and address a public gathering.

According to party sources, Nawaz Sharif is meeting party office-bearers, ticket holders, and local leadership during his visit. He is also expected to outline his party’s future development priorities for Gilgit-Baltistan.
Meanwhile, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari is scheduled to address a rally in Skardu’s GBA-7 constituency. Preparations for the gathering were underway, with party workers and supporters arriving from different areas.
Other political leaders have also begun campaign activities across the region as election preparations gain momentum.
