Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones are expected to launch in July, and early leaked images have revealed what may be a new wider-screen design being tested in public for the first time.
According to reports from South Korean online forums and tech outlets, a prototype Samsung foldable was spotted in use while covered in a protective case to conceal its final design.

The device appears noticeably wider than Samsung’s current Galaxy Z Fold lineup. Instead of the tall, narrow form factor, the new model looks closer to a more compact, “passport-style” foldable design.
Tech observers say this could signal a shift in Samsung’s foldable strategy, offering a different shape aimed at improved usability when unfolded.

Early leaks suggest the device may feature a dual rear camera setup, unlike Samsung’s higher-end foldables that typically include triple cameras.
