Construction of Muridke–Narowal Carpet Road Begins, Residents to Benefit Soon

The construction of the Muridke–Narowal Carpet Road officially started today, thanks to the joint efforts of Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain, MNA Rana Ahmed Atique Anwar, and MPA Chaudhry Hassan Riaz.

The construction work began near the Qureshi Interchange, where local and regional leaders highlighted the importance of this road project. Once completed, it is expected to provide enhanced travel facilities for residents of Narang and Narowal, ensuring smoother daily commutes.

Officials stated that the Muridke–Narowal Road is being built according to modern standards. Upon completion, it will bring ease of travel, time savings, and improved traffic flow in the area.

Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain said, “This project is for the convenience of the public, and we aim to complete the road as soon as possible to make it accessible to everyone.”

MNA Rana Ahmed Atique Anwar and MPA Chaudhry Hassan Riaz also assured residents that the completion of the road will boost the local economy, facilitate business activities, and improve daily life for the community.

Once completed, this highway will not only make local travel easier but also improve connections with other major roads in the province, playing a significant role in the region’s development.
